Some more photos taken during this week. The canvases are primed, and now we're in the process of sketching out our preliminary drawings, and getting to the business of painting on them.
Picture Perfect is a collaborative painting project between the two UK artists Rebecca Davy and Susan Massey.
Drawings to Paintings:
Over the past few months the artists worked on a series of collaborative drawings, sent backwards and forwards via email. No theme was set; the aim was to respond to the drawing sent. These drawings have become the basis for the project, as the artists investigate how their ideas and processes gel onto one canvas, as well as how they work within the set time limit of a month, and how they both decide a painting is finished.
